'Giants in the Earth' (working title)
Matt is collaborating with the writer Nick Wood on this new musical for Oxfordshire Theatre Company.  There will be a workshop performance at The Oxford Museum of Natural History in October 2010 and a full production is planned for 2011.  You can read Nick's blog here.

When The Pictures Came - A unique collaboration between award-winning Terrapin Puppet Theatre from Tasmania, The Children’s Art Theatre of China in Shanghai and Lakeside Arts Centre in Nottingham, UK to be premiered in Shanghai in June 2010. Matt will be composing the score as well as mentoring musicians and composers in China. Read my blog here.

Pericles - In July and August Matt will be in Poland for the Gdansk Shakespeare Festival, creating the music for a large-scale production of Pericles featuring performers from Poland, UK, Turkey and Romania.  It is being produced by the UK company Parrabbola who specialise in site-specific community work.

Farm Boy - Daniel Buckroyd's acclaimed adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's sequel to War Horse is at The Assembly Rooms at this years Edinburgh Fringe Festival to be followed by a tour in the Autumn. Follow the link to hear some of the music (it's the second video on the page).

Memoirs Of A Biscuit Tin - A topsy-turvy tale for grown-ups by Maison Foo, company-in-residence at Deda (Derby Dance). Playing Lakeside Arts Centre, Nottingham June 2010 and Edinburgh Festival, August 2010. You can watch the promotional video here

The Bridge - Matt returned to the states in March 09 to continue writing with Liv Cummins on this exciting music-theatre non-historical historical fantasy. Watch this space for further news...
